So far we have used this about 5 times. 3 times in the rain and it held up pretty well. I'm still undecided on the concept of it. You need a step stool to get in and out of it. After you set it up once it doesn't take as long thereafter. Trying to set up in the rain is not fun. I wish the front top had more of an overhang to keep the rain from soaking the front door. Other than condensation, we stayed dry. It does not fully enclose meaning there are gaps near the tailgate that might allow little critters in (we had a mouse join us one night) lol this is how we discovered where he got in. But other than that, some of the stitching for the poles near the tailgate seem a little sketchy but have held up so far. It fits our 2008 f150 perfectly. We built a wooden bed to lay inside the truck bed and put the air mattress on and it's comfy af.

Tried using my twice, but it just does not fit my 2012 F-150 XLT 6.5 box. The flare on the box is too wide and you have to stretch the fabric and the screen to the point of ripping in order to close the screen door, so I just sleep with the door open. The fabric and zippers a bit cheap, but the rain fly stayed on great in a good rain storm and the tie-downs and poles seem like they will outlast the fabric and the zippers.

If it fits your truck, it is a great little tent for the price Keeps you off the ground.
Nice addition to my truck,

I'm glad I choose this truck tent over the full enclosed one. Went to a national park and stopped at a campground. The tent was easy to setup and take down. I have a tundra with a rug bedliner which is like a carpet around the truck bed. The truck tent was the perfect addition. The tent made my bed feel like a camper. We haven't tested the tent in the rain yet, but while in the park, we had a windy night. The tent was sturdy and held in place.

Recommendation:
I didn't like the air bed height in the truck bed and was worried I might have objects in the truck bed that can puncture the air bed. Instead of using an air bed, I purchased a twin foam mattress. The foam mattress worked better than an air bed. If you get a full or queen, you can cut it to match your truck bed. I ended up buying a twin 3" foam bed. To reduce the foam bed for storage, purchase the space saver bag SpaceSaver Premium Space Saver Vacuum Storage Bags, (40 x 30 Inch) 10 x JUMBO SIZE BAGS and this reduces the foam bed to fit in a storage box container that can be pushed to the side for storage. This bag fit the twin foam size nicely. You may have to find other ways to store if you get a full or queen size.

Pros:
Easy to setup and take down.
Do not have to remove items from the truck bed when setting up tent.
Held in place with windy condition.

Cons:
Poles tend to open a small gap by side where they fit into the slits. You can tighten the straps, but not as tight.
Good tent - so far : not had it in rain yet

Just put it up for the first time on 6'7" regular bed 2017 club cab f150. Have not tried it in rain yet so can only give 4 stars for now. Able to put tent up by myself but took some time - highly recommend putting tent up once on a nice day when you have time before using it on the road. Also you really need a small step ladder (good for getting in and out of tent as well : ) I expect my next time to do it in about 15 minutes. Keep tailgate strap loose until the end. Make sure all other straps are loose before putting poles in - you can tighten them up later. Tight fit on f150 but it works. Nice thing is that the tent bag is big enough to fit loosely rolled up tent, fly and poles yet still fits under the club cab rear seat. I like the fact that the truck bed is open. Roomy inside the tent. I also bought the right line mattress.
Roomy Tent - a little tight and thin material

I give it 4 stars because it is a tight fit on my 2017 F250 with 8' bed. First try in the driveway and overall I like it. Setting it up and taking it down was fairly easy even for the first time, though next time I would insert the poles before adjusting all straps to align the tent. Maybe I am wrong but inserting the poles with what I thought was a good strap adjustment felt real hard, plus I had to loosen most straps and readjust again to get it centered. So I am hoping that leaving the straps mostly loose and only slip the edges over the bed and tailgate could make inserting the poles easier and make alignment a one step process? Some of the seams at the tense spots do not look as if they like it and could have benefitted from some reinforcement fabric. Especially at the front corners and at the rear taillight it seems like the fabric, especially the seams are under a lot of stress. So I can definitely see where all the negative reviews about rips and tears are coming from. I can not confirm the complaints I've read about straps and hooks as all are long enough and hooks fit nice on all metal edges. It's good material and the thick plastic hooks seem to hold plenty tension, much more than I would trust the tent fabric will hold.
