After we bought a Leesa mattress, the hardness of the mattress made us need a mattress cover. We bought this mattress pad based on reviews and for the first couple of weeks, it was great. The price for the cover was high and my fault for trusting it. It is soft and really helped us appreciate our Lessa mattress (for a couple of weeks). After that, we experienced major problems. Even when pulling the mattress elastic bottom to fit our bed, by the morning, it was off the mattress and had migrated well below our heads and to one or my husband's side of the bed. In addition to the issues with keeping it centered on the bed, which is a daily issue, the pad has now started to shred underneath the thin covering. We've never washed it, so not sure why that happened. After such a short time of spending so much money on this pad, I'm now getting a new mattress cover. I can wholeheartedly NOT recommend this mattress pad - and I rarely write bad reviews. At $100+ spending on a mattress cover, it should do so much better.

The foam pad is stuck together and you have to be gentle to pull it apart, and then place it on your bed to straighten out before you put the topper on it..
Placed it all on my excellent Saatva 11.50" Queen mattress, and the topper is not long enough to fit all the way down around my mattress, but the corners fit ok..
The memory foam is very nice, totally takes the mattress feel out, and it took me awhile to get used to it.. Whatever back pain I had before was gone in a few days.
It does make my already tall mattress and box springs much taller..

The only problem that is a game changer for me - the memory foam pad retains too much heat for my needs! It just does.. Bummer..
After almost 1 month, (purchased April 25th of this year), I had to take the memory foam pad out..

I kept the excellent topper on, but it is just too much to pay for just a topper now..

I dont know what I will do but I do have a few more days to return the whole thing..

Just know that if one runs a little "hot" at night, and its not cold Winter, this might not work out for you either..

There are two parts to this pad, the 2 inch foam pad, and the fitted pad which covers it. It has helped me to be comfortable, and to sleep well. One note, the foam is wrapped in a tight cylinder. Carefully cut the wrap, and it will slowly expand. No need to try to uncoil it. I tried to uncoil it, and thankfully did not damage it. It uncoils itself, and may tear if forced. Takes maybe a half hour, I went out for a while, and after returning, it was fully opened.

I purchased a semi-firm mattress for around 600.00, it felt pretty good in the store. But at home it was too firm, tight as a guitar string, OMG! I tossed and turned all during the night. Next day, I had the worse backache that wouldn't go away until I bought this pad. I bought the mattress pad and foam, and now it feels so good to fall asleep! I can still feel the firmness under the foam and pillow top pad which provides the right amount of cushion/protection. No more pain!. It felt like I was sleeping on a $1200+ pillow top mattress. I am so glad I didn't invest in a more expensive mattress.

I just recently got an extra firm memory foam mattress that is so hard you can't even sleep on it, it feels like camping and sleeping on the ground! This has really helped the mattress become very comfortable. The only issue I have is that the fitted part keeps rolling up and coming off of the mattress corners with the fitted sheet. so I have to keep going around the corners of the bed and pulling it and the fitted sheet back down over the mattress.
