Recommend for anyone who makes jewelry & works with wire!

Heavy duty cutter giving a very flush cut. I've only had these a few months but have used them on 18 gauge round half hard & 12 gauge half round half hard, & up to 16 gauge dead soft copper (& up to 18 gauge bronze) with no damage to the cutting edges so far. Excellent quality; cutting edges meet; are as described & Made In Italy. Love Hakko cutters!

works good
This is a great addition to the tool box for light precision work

This is a great addition to the tool box for light precision work. Works great for small guage stranded and solid wire, zip ties, plastic banding. The handles are comfortable. About the only negative I could possible come up with is that the handles take up a lot of room in the tool box.
warning - soft jaws. not hardened enogh

very disappointing from first cut the wire left a dent in the jaws, made of soft metal, not hardened.
