All of them seem to be of good quality and materials

I bought this cutter and about 9 other Hakko hand tools. All of them seem to be of good quality and materials. The cutter is nice and tough, can cut rather thick copper wire.
Won't open enough to cut Cat 6 Cable!?
Amazon Customer•September 6, 2017
What I expected in every way EXCEPT it will not open wide enough to cut Cat 6 network cable! You can sort of force it in, but I have other similar pair and they cut network cable (and much worse) all day long. I use them for large cable ties and general network instalation, but with out the ability to cut Cat 6 cable I don't use them much.
Other wise a very, very nice flush cutter highly recommended.

Solidly built pair of dykes. Good quality and a reasonable price. Works best on stranded wire.
