Actual size of the cards is 3.5" x 2.25" and they come individually wrapped in a box of 50. The entire card is saturated and can be used in both directions for a credit card swipe.
We have several hundred magnetic swipes in the field and I would guess that the majority of these had never been cleaned (2-3 years of use). We began using these wipes and were blown away at the amount of dirt and grime that came out of the swipes. They have increased the reliability of these readers and, in many cases, resulted in a *noticable* difference in the number of times cards were unreadable.
For the price, I highly suggest these.

If you work at a hotel and still have the older magnetic key locks, these work great in keeping your locks clean. The inside of the lock gets very dirty at times (especially at a motel) so you will save yourself and your guests a lot of frustration by using these on a regular basis. This is an easy problem to prevent from turning into a complaint.
