I purchased this as a replacement lid but had misgivings about the fit. I measured carefully and It fits perfectly. The sides of the lid aren't as deep as the original but that is not a big deal. I am pleased to have been able to replace the lid at such a reasonable price. The product is as advertised and fits. I was not disappointed.

It fits my pan that I bought it for and will most likely fit other brands as well because of the wide lip around the out side edge, the vent works well almost to well-steam does not build up so if you use the build up of steam to speed up your cooking you will have to use a wet cloth to slow the release of the steam which has worked for me.

Wonderful lid, but its 9 7/8" not 9.5" in diameter -- if that'll work for you its a well made bargain!

The 3 stars represent a reduction for inappropriate sizing information. This is a lovely lid, well made, solid and nicely finished. It is also perfectly described as a lipless lid (which I was looking for, a flat lid with no projection below), however, it is *not* 9.5" in diameter. It is 9 7/8" in diameter, which means it didn't fit my pot. Too bad, because its really a nice lid, a five-star lid that loses points in review solely for inaccurate measurement.
