Purchased this for an 11" Wms. Sonoma GreenPan that did not come with a lid. Bought a different brand lid that was 11" but it sank inside the pan. This lid fit PERFECTLY because, in my opinion, giving the measurements in cm was more accurate than if measured in fractions of inches. Our initial concerns were immediately alleviated when we placed the lid on the pan. We LOVE the lid. It is heavy which should eliminate steam from the underside. It is also very attractive. A win/win, all around. We're very happy!

It fits my pan that I bought it for and will most likely fit other brands as well because of the wide lip around the out side edge, the vent works well almost to well-steam does not build up so if you use the build up of steam to speed up your cooking you will have to use a wet cloth to slow the release of the steam which has worked for me.
Sorry to say that this well-made Duxtop lid is not suitable for the Instant Pot 7-in-1 cookers

I'm guessing many people who purchased popular Instant Pot multi-cooking devices are looking for cheaper alternatives to the Instant Pot brand lids which cost about $23. I bought to use with my new Instant Pot IP-DUO50 7-in-1, 3rd generation cooker. While the lid is extremely well-made with heavy-duty tempered glass and a nice handle, I am not happy with pairing this with my cooker. Why? This lid has no rim underneath to sit "in" the IP. Rather it rests "on" the IP and it is not stable. (The manufacturers are to be commended for saying this upfront.) I just placed an order for the Instant Pot lid which will be delivered in two days. Yay, Amazon!

I bought this lid for my Instant Pot DUO60 and it's exactly what I hoped it would be. There are differing opinions as to whether or not this lid fits the Instant Pot. As the manufacturer's "Important Note" states, there is no inner lip on the lid that goes inside the pot to keep the lid from sliding off. The Instant Pot measures 9 1/2 inches across while the lid measures 9 3/4 inches across, so the lid covers the pot perfectly for steaming, browning, and slow cooking. Some people might have a problem with the fact that the lid just sets on the pot and if accidentally bumped could slide off, fall to the floor, and break. But to my way of thinking if you accidentally drop any glass lid on the floor it could break. So for me it's a great lid that does its job at a very reasonable price.
