Invisible fencing didn't phase our Golden Retriever pup, but the electric fencing worked great. And the shock isn't that strong. But it was enough to stop her after the first encounter. After having it up for a few weeks we don't even need to turn it on.We also draped the wire around our patio pots and she leaves them alone. Easy to connect additional lines to the main line.
