Fantastic value

This would be a 5star review if only a minor flaw during assembly of one flashlight. I can't seem to separate the body of the light where the zoom feature meets the battery compartment. I am trying to do so because a small "O"-ring was not seated properly and is sitting on the outside of the body. This is how I took it out of package new. Otherwise, great flashlights with strobe and zoom features. The red light has 3 modes, fast, slow and on. The silicone housing for that I am sure will be the first to fail and fall off the bike, however the red light is a mere bonus as the flashlights themselves are worth the $25 for a pair. Also,6 AAA batteries are included for the flashlights, and the red lights come with batteries already installed plus 4 additional cr2032s. Overall I don't see how anyone is profiting besides myself as a consumer. Would and probably will buy again.
Solid value light

Nice item, especially for the price. It's basically a tiny LED flashlight that mounts onto your bike. The beam maintains a really even circle of light that you can enlarge. Of course it gets dimmer the larger the circle but it fairly bright. The flashlight just slips in to the holder, which can be tightened. But I'm not sure I would trust it if I were a hardcore mountain biker as it doesn't clip in. But it's definitely good enough for city riding. Even comes with a second set of the little button batteries for the tail light. Note on the tail light, it is really cheapy looking but it gets the job done. You really can't complain for the price you pay. Only initial complaint would be that the box contained a card that said instructions were in my email. I never received any instructions. It doesn't bother me much, just thought I'd make note of it.

UPDATE: I left the above comment about the instructions for the seller. He later sent the instructions.
Good basic light sets, great customer service

These have been really great for our kids' bikes. It's nice to have all the different modes, even on the red back lights. They seem to be bright enough for our kids, and for us following them without our own lights. We did have to add some more padding, as the kids' bikes' handlebars are more narrow than an adults. We used rubber bands and also electrical tape. One of the mounts lost its padding a month after we started using them--it just got loosened and we didn't notice. Another one the plastic casing actually holding the light broke. For both of those issues I contacted Don via email and he ended up sending us two new mounts, free of charge. Great customer service! We'd buy these again! If you need a functional light at a good price point, this is a great pic!
Great light at great price.

Very bright light and a great buy for the cost. I would recommend also ordering the rechargeable batteries with the USB head which just plug into any USB port on a computer or adapter. I heard it is good to be careful pulling the battery out of the USB port so as not to detached charging head from the body of the battery. This has never happened to me, but it is a nice preventative measure. The included tail lights are very bright as well. After many hours of use I replaced batteries on the tail light and the cost was $12 for two batteries. Two lights plus two tail lights for about $25, the overall package price is just super!

The main problems reviewers mention are: handlebar clamps break, aren't tight enough so light moves out of position, and adjust only perpendicular to the handlebars (so depending on your handlebars, light doesn't shine where you want/need it). In addition, flashlights slide out of clamp. In comments to reviews, the company suggests applying friction tape to the handlebars. I happened to have some leftover bike handlebar tape, so cut a piece about 3/4 of the diameter of my handlebar, which I think will keep the clamp in position. Some reviewers also mentioned that the screws come out, so I had some outdoor silicone caulk, and put a little of that on the nuts and screws to help keep the nuts from falling out of their plastic mounts, and the screw from jiggling loose. To keep the flashlights from sliding out of their mounts, I taped gorilla tape (which has a mesh in it like duct tape, so is textured), inside the mount, one piece on top, one on bottom (which I cut along the gap in the bottom of the mount). This slightly reduces the diameter of the light holder part of the clamp, and makes it less slippery. This is more work than a person should need to do, but given the reviews, I tried it. Don't know if it will work yet, but the light seems to stay in its clamp even when I pull on it, and the clamp doesn't move when I try gently to move it.
