it took me a good 15 tries

Takes a huge amount of effort to setup because there is some sort of problem with the firmware this ships with and the pairing procedure is very precise with when you need to pull the batteries/etc. it took me a good 15 tries, hard resetting each time, before I got it to go on my wifi network. Check around on other comments for install instructions. It's still difficult even with them :)

After trying for hours, no luck in getting this thing to connect with the app. I've emailed support, but if just getting the thing to work is this much trouble, they've already failed with this product. It's doesn't deliver on its basic promises, and isn't worth the frustration or effort required to take advantage of the features.

Novelty item but it does an okay job at counting coins. Wink app has a hard time with it at times and goes offline but it works.
App needs to be compatible with more devices

Very cute product. If I had known that I couldn't download the app for my tablet (Kindle Fire HDX 8.9) or my iPod touch (it's an older model), then I would not have purchased it. I wish I could use it, but I will be returning this.

I bought this as a smart home automation device to replace the coffee mug that sits on my counter with change in it. I used to walk past it constantly and wonder to myself "how much is actually in there". Now with this electronic piggy bank, my change is tallied as I deposit it. I know what your thinking "but don't you have to wait till it's full and use all the money at once?" While emptying bank is the easiest option in the app for withdrawaling from the Ballance, the app will give you the option to withdraw a select amount.
