Happy Baby....Happy Mommy!

So much easier on my baby's tummy and better for her. The other more "popular" brands made her constipated for days....with Baby's Only she is regular and much happier. We love it and have shared it with other families who love it too.
Best formula possible
Ashley Mintz•April 13, 2017
Did a lot of research on the best possible formulas to feed baby and this was it! Also she's never gassy, or hyper. She doesn't pass out right after feeding unless it's bedtime, good sign there's good ingredients in it! If you don't go with this amazing brand, try earth best baby formula. Good luck! And don't be fooled by the "1 year plus". In my research I found out that, that is for advertising and the FDA has approved this for infants. I've been feeding my baby this since 2 weeks of age and still using it today (she's almost 7 months and very healthy). Do it!!

Great product!
so we started researching formula options and we decided on this one and we've been so happy with our decision

We knew we were going to be needing formula soon, so we started researching formula options and we decided on this one and we've been so happy with our decision. It met our requirements (dha, organic, powder, price, availability, etc) and had great expert reviews so we gave it a try. Our baby was almost 6 months when she had her first bottle of this formula. It took her a while to adjust to a bottle, but she had no problem at all with the taste of the formula. We briefly tried the Honest formula, but she wouldn't take it. They probably had to do with the bottle transition and not the formula, but we don't really know. She's had great growth and development so far too. It did cause a little constipation, which made the transition from BF diapers to formula diapers even harder for her. Every few days we were told to put a few drops of prune juice in her bottle and we had to continue that until she started eating purees of fruits and vegetables. After that, we fed her one or half of one these purees every couple days - Ella's Kitchen Organic Stage 2, Apples Carrots Prunes + Butternut Squash, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 6). Now that she's 10 months old so eats bananas, pears, veggies, bites of our food, daily along with her formula per our pediatrician's recommendations and when she began to eat this way it completely stopped any need for the puree with the little bit of puree. Our doctor told us this was all fine and normal when it was happening as it is a big transition for them and that switching formula was only going to put her through hard changes allover again. Another few major reasons we didn't try switching her, she was so happy/calm/sleeping well so she wasn't having a bigger reaction or allergy and we were living for the summer in Paris and didn't feel confident with our french skills to pick out a new french formula. Plus that would cause a problem when we came home 2 months later as we would have to ship in the formula she was adjusted to (which we were not wanting to do if it at all possible) or we would have to switch her formula again. We're very glad we stuck it out with this formula. We're careful to never overfill the scoop when we are mixing her a bottle because too much formula powder will cause tummy troubles. It makes sense, too much formula/nutrients/calories and not enough water is a recipe for an upset baby stomach. We prefer to buy it by the box/case here on amazon, but what's nice if we run out or forget it somewhere Whole Foods has it. It's more expensive there and they don't always have the DHA dairy she needs, but at least it's a good back up option for us here in NYC/Brooklyn. We've been happy with the packaging as it's easy to do with one hand while we are holding the baby, Sometimes we spill the powder a little which sucks, but it's usually our fault and because we are rushing around or holding the baby. I'm not sure if there is a way to prevent it by changing the packaging or scoop, so we are happy with it!
CON- The scoop is always buried in the formula, which is so messy to dig out. Now it's become habit for us to finish a can and use that scoop in the new can until we reach the other scoop. It's not worth digging through as it's messy and we lose some formula that way. Also, the tummy troubles as mentioned above but we found good solutions for us and our pediatrician easily during the first two months of switching her to formula. Apparently, it's not completely unusual either with any formula transition.
