Works great! Much better than my other brooms! After reading the reviews I was skeptical but after it came in the mail, I went outside and shook out the powdery stuff that people were talking about. After that it was perfect for the job!!

Does a much better job of sweeping than a traditional broom. There is some debris from the broom itself at first; I just took it outside and shook it. Remember to glide it across the floor instead of using a "sweeping" motion and debris from the broom should not be a problem.

The Vietnamese Soft Fan Straw Broom was just what I needed for my project. It was the perfect size and the quality was great also. The only problem for me was the little yellow hook at the top and the color of the broom stick which was red and blue. This was my fault because I didn't check to see if there were solid broom stick colors. I would have preferred a neutral color for the broom stick because of using it for a Wedding Jumping broom which meant I had to cut the hook off and double cover the handle with ribbon. But I was able to make it work and it turned out beautifully.
