Great door , seals tight .

I really like this as I replaced a normal type doggie door with the regular flap. The door faces the north and with the other type we always had to block it shut when the north wind was blowing. This door seals very tight and I feel no air or cold entering. Easy for the dog and I certainly recommend it. We will never buy a standard dog door with the normal flap again.

I have to say I love this doggy door. The way it seals is amazing. I bought the medium one. I have a Lhasa Apso and a tiny Chihuahua. I also took care of a average sized Yorkie and they fit through it beautifully. If you have a dog that is use to going through doggy doors, they will be O.K with this door. If you have a dog that isn't use to using doggy doors some training needs to be included because this doggy door seals very well and they have to get use to the little extra push with nose or however your dog goes through a doggy door because it seals that well. I live on the Western Slope of Colorado and we have all 4 seasons. It has kept out the cold and the wind. I bought this product Jan. 2018.

This door is much better than their flap model. The flap would stay open with north wind on our old Idea pet door. This one stays shut and you can tell a huge difference in temperature inside. The dogs had to be re-trained after they got used to their flap model over the years. I did have to modify with a table saw to make it fit a 5/8" thick panel for sliding door and it worked out just fine. You can't even tell it was cut, but it was not easy knowing I instantly voided the warranty.

This door is great I just replaced my old one I was a little disappointed that they changed the frame from metal to plastic yet it still works. I wish that would make a kit to replace the weather stripping around the inside frame because that is what get ruined first.

Works perfect and I highly recommend. I was nervous considering some of the reviews, though it turned out to be a much better product then the other options available (Friends and family own the other brands). It fits our Mini Australian Shepard and Cat without being to large or obnoxious, and it is energy efficient in that it insulates well and closes tight about 95% of the time. Being able to replace the door vs. the entire item is also a plus.
