The versatility of the width adjustment is definitely a plus with this insert, but as you open and shut the drawer over time it pushes back in and whatever you have in the extended areas gets wedged in and you have to spread it back open to take out whatever you have in those areas. Another problem for me is that I lose 4" in the very back of my drawer because these are not long enough and that's annoying. Yes, I could move this all the way back and use that 4" in the front but then the insert is always flying back and forth as I open and shut the drawer. It does that anyway so I used locktite putty to keep it in place. I guess I could try the locktite in the back and that may hold it in place. The overall look of the inside of my drawers is beautiful though, these look very nice and elegant.

I just moved and decided to get some new organizers for our kitchen. We had a metal cutlery organizer before and whenever you'd close the drawer, the knives would slide forward almost through it...ended with irritation. So I said no more...found this baby and I am so thrilled!! I put it in the largest drawer in my kitchen and it is expanded all the way. Holds everything perfectly. I even had room to add a knife block on the side. This organizer is made really well and I know will last for years to come. I am very thrilled with it and it looks fantastic! My larger utensils are in a different drawer. I am sure you can put them in this organizer if you choose to (like the sellers pic shows) but I like it so much better for forks, knives and spoons. We just love it!!

Great product. Has made my more basic/mid quality drawers have a real purpose and polish to them. They've completely removed the annoyance of having disorganized, crappy drawers with plastic utensil trays that don't fit. The expandable feature is a must, and they are easy to clean. I only wish they came in additional lengths as they don't fully fit in my drawers the long way, and they slide around a bit. I found two workarounds. 1. The padded, vinyl-like non-stick contact paper lining your drawers helps with this. 2. Buy a roll of Velcro from the hardware store and stick one side in the drawer and the other side on the bamboo tray. It completely holds it into place in the front.

I know this seems very obvious, but the best thing about this cutlery tray is that it is fully adjustable.
I have never had an adjustable tray before nor have I ever had one that truly fit my drawer.
Since all the other ones were never wide enough all kinds of "junk" would get placed beside it and the drawer always looked messy.
This allowed me to add an extra compartment so now I can have each sized spoon in its own compartment and it looks great!
Using this insert makes it feel like I have a custom made cutlery drawer. Due to the width of my drawers, I got one extra compartment along the width and one extra in the very back (due to the depth) so now butter knives and all other knives can be separated along with teaspoons and tablespoons.
I've recently purchased more bamboo drawer organizers for other drawers because I like them so much and they look great, too.
I was actually surprised at the quality considering the low price and have since purchased other bamboo organizers for my kitchen and am enjoying them all.

Fully expandable means practically a custom fit. trying to get the best fit and the best look can be...well...trying. This bamboo expandable drawer insert is perfect! I bought a second for the "mess" drawer.
