I would not recommend this again

When it worked it was okay, however, it stopped charging after the battery died. I purchased one for a friend before this happened and hers stopped working after daily use within 3 months. I would not recommend this again. Pretty to look at though.

I am a RN with hand disabilities so was looking for a one hand self inflating blood pressure device to avoid self pumping to inflate cuff. Since I have found inaccurate variable readings on ALL automatic blood pressure devices on the market, I always take the blood pressure manually at the same time to ensure accuracy and when there is a difference I record the reading that I hear rather than what gets displayed digitally. If I didn't know how to manually take a blood pressure, I would be hesitant in using any automatic home BP monitor (including Omron) because of their lack of accuracy when compared to manual office technique. What I like the most about this product is that the cuff is truly a large sized cuff as advertised (comes in medium size cuff also) and has markings on the cuff to ensure correct fit. Most of the automatic blood pressure devices that say "regular to large cuff" is not truly sized to what a large cuff should be. Having the correct size cuff is imperative to accurate reads. Also this device allows for BP readings while lying flat..most of the table top automatic BP monitors require both feet on the floor for accurate
readings. What I didn't like about this unit is that it's not always accurate to manual BP reads and the battery took longer to charge than the directions claimed. Even though the charge doesn't last as long as it should, an AC adapter is included (as well as a soft carrying case). Also not a "comfort" fit cuff so you feel the inflation more. Wish you could enter date and time into the digital display even though it does display
past readings.

Cuff needs to be bigger! but works ok. have the time it will not work. Goes through batteries like crazy. Now quit and cannot get it replaced or repaired. Dont waste your money!
Nice to look at, not calculate accurate blood pressure.

Has the same limitations as most automatic BP cuffs. Too sensitive to extraneous noise including movement to be accurate. It is, however, a very attractive unit. Battery life is passable, but when it begins to weaken the readings become extreme. I used it in my clinic and the systolic readings were sometimes 30-40 points higher than our manual unit. It does feel heavy duty, though.
Bottom line: if you're looking for a unit that is nice to look at, but inaccurate, this is your lucky day. Otherwise, get a date with an escort service. At least then you'll know if your heart is working.
