Absolutely wonderful. Hydrate
Mme. Red✓ Verified Purchase•July 15, 2017
Absolutely wonderful. Hydrate, flavor, cook. I usually prepare separately from my other food items, then add to the mixture once it's ready. Great for stir fry, vegetarian chicken soup, etc. Practical to keep even for non-vegetarians like myself as a great meat substitute when you're trying to make the paycheck go a bit further, and I've even managed to get it to taste like bacon!
This is my favorite meat-substitute vegan/vegetarian food

This is my favorite meat-substitute vegan/vegetarian food. I don't usually try to use meat substitutes, a vegetarian dish should stand on it's own legs with out having to pretend that it has meat in it. However, some of this with some good home made bbq sauce, collard greens and black eyed peas...
Love!

These are amazing! I made Mongolian "beef" with then and then "chicken" and mushroom pasta with cashew cream sauce. So good!!!
Best meat substitute!

We've been vegan for 6 years and are never without these soy curls in the cupboard. Best sandwich filler. BBQ sandwiches, simmered in sauce, marinated to top a pizza...Imagine if you could dehydrate tofu completely and fill it back up with sauce. Mmm. It's a blank canvas. Get creative"‹!
I love soy curls

I love soy curls. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but these are a great replacement for chicken and chicken strips, and I've even made 'bacon' with them that turned out amazing. Just make sure to marinade them in a flavorful sauce and you'll get something even better than you could with chicken. General Tso's Soycurls, Soycurls marinaded in YumYum sauce from a hibachi house, and beefless jerky are all things I've made and truly enjoyed!
