Helps a lot but does not eliminate seizures.

This product has done wonders for our Bagel hound who has seizures about once a month. While it has not eliminated them, it has reduced the intensity and duration of them you have to be paying attention to realize he is having a seizure.
He doesn't tense up nearly as much and has no loss of bladder control. We've tried a few different ones but this has been the most consistent. We add it to his meal, 2 scoops twice a day.

Didn't work for our Pit/Lab mix. Her seizures actually intensified and were more frequent. Can't say that the increased frequency was directly related to us giving her SeizureGuard, but it certainly didn't do anything to help.

MY MINI PINSHER WAS HAVING SEIZURES AT LEAST ONE TO TWICE A WEEK AND I DIDN'T WANT TO PLACE HER ON MEDICATION SHE ONLY 4.5 POUNDS AND WAS WORRIED AND RESEARCH EVERYTHING I COULD I CAME UPON THIS PRODUCT ON LINE AND IT HAD THE BEST REVIEWS .. SO I TRIED IT MY BABY HASN'T HAD A SEIZURE IN 3 MONTHS!!!! I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AND GRATEFUL THAT SHE DOESNT HAVE TO GO THOUGH THE SEIZURES ANYMORE !!!! I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LOVES THER DOG AS MUCH AS I DO

My sweet dog was having seizures almost every 18 days with days of recovery where she was not herself. She has been on starting therapeutic dose of phenobarbital. We started seizure guard with salmon oil and now her seizures are 23 days apart, but notably she is back to herself within a few hours making eye contact and acting normal. Which makes it worth it because I know her brain is getting what it needs to repair and function.

New user to this. Our boxer-mastiff mix has started having grand mal seizures. Vet put him on phenobarbital but still having problem. Two nights after starting this new med he had three in one night. But after that, none for almost two weeks. So very hopeful. Only complaint this stuff tastes bad so have to mix it in honey and peanut butter to get him to take it. I will upgrade to a five, forgiving the bad taste if he goes longer without another seizure.
