The dog liked them, so that is the first hurdle. I gave her one and she came right back for another. I don't know if these are recommended for every day use or just periodic use when a dog is having digestive issues. They are pretty expensive for daily use -- particularly if you have a larger dog. This package contains only 10 chews, and a large dog dosage is 3 chews/day -- so I'm not sure this is a particularly good value for daily use.

I am familiar with Zesty Paws brand and have purchased their products in the past because they are made in US using quality ingredients and carry the NASC seal. I had been looking at the larger 90 count size Probiotic chews when this sample size came across my Vine account. I'm pleased with the variety of probiotic strains especially the Bacillus Subtillis which is soil based and not easily destroyed by stomach acid.
My small dog is currently taking powdered probiotics in her food and I'm trying to go to the chew "treats" instead. She loves treats and they are much easier than messy powders and guesstimating how much of a capsule to use. We will be traveling for the holidays and the small 10 count bag will be ideal for the trip. If your dog is new to probiotics this sample size is perfect for you to try before buying a larger container. You can even break them to start slowly with half dose until your dog's stomach adjusts to probiotics. Keeping your dog's gut healthy can improve immune system and ward off disease.

I got these because my dog often gets digestive problems. She loved them! The dosage for her was 2 treats a day so this pack only does 5 days. Pretty expensive since at that dose and the price of $5, that's $1 a day. Not really sure how well these work since so few days use in this pack.

These treats are necessary for both my young puppy and my senior dog for digestive health. My puppy is too young to know what she loves but is generally not picky. I had heard of this brand before and I often like to buy new and varied treats and food to mix things up for them!
