my boot size is 13 the crowd said size up 1 and i did. ..I purchased a 14 and they were tight on the toes 1 wool sock.

These boots are very comfortable. I have not had a chance to try them in very cold weather bet I did wear them when the temp was 15 degrees with snow on the ground. Stood in the snow for 45 minutes, with minimal movement, and my feet stayed very warm. No cold came through the bottom of these boots. I'm impressed!!

Excellent boots for cold weather. I wear a size 11, so I bought these in a 12. They're snug with one pair of socks, I wouldn't want to wear a second pair of socks, as the boots would then be too snug. But I don't live in the tundra, so this won't be necessary. Very warm and well-made. They become too warm if we get a winter warming spell in the mid-30s F. They're expensive, but I expect these to last several years or more.

I made the right decision when I purchased this item.

These boots are no frills, a serious choice for serious weather. They are very rugged and they are built to last. Beefy is perhaps an understatement. This pair is rated at nearly 100 degrees below zero F. The liner inside is a half inch thick and that means that you can wear dress socks in them at 15 degrees.

With thick wool socks your feet will stay toasty inside these babies in sub zero temperatures. I will post some updates in the future as my work has me outside in the wee morning hours near Butte, Montana at stents lasting in excess of a couple of hours, out in the elements, at a time. Hence the reason for buying them in the first place.

The fact that you and I can get these bad boys for less than a couple hundred bucks is terrific, a blessing bestowed upon us, a godsend.

The Baffin Snow Monster is a truly appropriate name, as the photos posted by other reviewers show these puppies to be big, puffy, full of insulation Monster Boots.

I acquired them in brown and they really look spiffy in that color. I almost want to sport them around Nordstrom just to show off a little.

I am thoroughly convinced that if you give these boots a go you will be very pleased. They are the right boots for really cold weather, I did wear them with dress socks in Denver at about 15 degrees and they performed. The tread too is perfect for the snow, great gripping power. I don't think I could have made a better choice.

Get a size and a half bigger and you will not be sorry, instead you will be happy with yourself because you made the right call. Enjoy!
