The disc tumbler cam lock was exactly what I was looking for when trying to install new locks on our gun cabinet. The measurements that they list on their site are to spec which is what you need when installing a lock. My one issue with this lock was how it was packaged. This showed up in an envelope, and inside the envelope was the lock/keys in a plastic bag. I would expect something like this to be properly packaged inside a box to protect the keys/goods. There were some little pieces that could've easily been lost or damaged. The functionality works just fine, keys fit into the keyhole and opens and closes as needed.

Paid for express shipping, locks came right away but all FIVE individually packaged locks were chrome rather than the black ones I specifically ordered (despite the packaging labels indicating they were black).
In addition to receiving the wrong color, the locking nuts are too large and have a different thread than the cylinder so they don't fit properly and it seems unlikely that they will stay in place for any length of time. Also, the locking arm and screw are bare metal so if exposed to any moisture will most likely corrode in no time.

Missing parts for wood installation

This does not include everything you will need to install it on a wood cabinet. It is missing a spur washer to keep it from rotating. It is also lacking a trim collar. Unless you are replacing an existing cam I would not buy this.
