I've found it quite easy to learn and of very delicate sounding
Tais•August 4, 2017
This is the very first tinwhistle I've ever played, so I'm not the most qualified person to give a review... But if it helps, I've found it quite easy to learn and of very delicate sounding. I love it!
Would buy again

Cedar wood insert, as opposed to the plastic or metal on most whistles. The body appears to be simple rolled tin hearken in back to Clark's original flutes I assume.
The sound is mellow for the D whistle. A bit breathy, so airflow control is still important.
Also, my teacher has favorable things to say about the tone and such.
Will probably continue to look for wood insert whistles. Probably Ckark's. If I had to buy a replacement whistle tomorrow it would be this Clark's D traditional tin whistle.

Not impressed with it.
A good whistle...

This whistle has a softer tone than the Generation pennywhistle I have had for forty years, though it takes a little more air to play. It is not tunable, but it is dead on key out of the box.
