Not only does this cane look great, but it's fair priced and just perfect for me! This is my second one, still have first but wanted to keep one in our second car JIC! 😎

I have been wanting to get a Brazos for some time. I was wondering if I could replace my cane with a walking stick. I was also wondering which style to get. Brazos offers so many but I really wanted a rustic option opposite of my current metal manufactured cane. Then I saw the Root Cane. Once it arrived I could tell it was beyond what I was looking for. It is very rugged but prepared just enough to ensure that the natural elements of the wood couldn't snag or splinter. I am a good size guy but I feel that my new cane is more than sturdy enough to support me. As much as I have not been too pleased with needing a cane, I kinda dig sporting my new Brazos!

I LOVE these wonderful, natural, knobby, handmade canes!! The 37" version is the Perfect height for me "” I'm 5'10". I just had [another] spinal fusion surgery and after graduating from my walker to walking sticks, now felt it was time for good strong canes "” I ordered 2 "” one for each hand. I love the feel and look of these sturdy canes "” each one is a work of art!

I was worried when I ordered my cane because of a lot of folks that got canes that had big problems. I'm happy to say that the one I received is just great. I already have a family heirloom free-form cane made by my Father-in-law from a tree-trim Mulberry stick from the one in the front yard of our old place. It has great sentimental value to me. Now he's been gone for years, but his cane remains, & now as an 83 yr. stroke victim, I rely on a cane all the time. I've never been conventional, so the free-form cane is a natural.
This Brazos cane is a beautiful work of art. Crafted by hand by a person who was thinking. Of course, yours will be different, but mine is slender, very strong, but very light. Tiny branch roots have been cut off & each area blended & smoothed, creating beautiful color variations. The handle on mine is very comfortable to grip. It's not quite like the picture, instead, being a little more like a large bird's beak. There's enough point to my handle that it "could" be lethal if swung hard at a predator's head. I'm a peaceful person, so that won't happen. All things considered, I'm very happy with my cane. "IF" something ever happened to it, I'll get another.
As received, the 37" cane was just a little too long for me. But it was a very simple matter to pull off the rubber tip, cut off 2 ", & bump the tip back on. I used a hack saw & I could tell that this is very tough wood.
