Clear, rich color. Slightly textured. My only concern is that the glass did not quite fit into the wood frame that accompanied it. I had to carefully flatten the frame with a pair of pliers to get it to fit. I'm not certain I would feel comfortable hanging the glass by the relatively flimsy chain.
