This didn't fit my larger pans but was fine on the smaller ones. It IS a good idea to use something (i used tongs) to lift it off when done to avoid burns from hot steam! I'm happy with the product.

So, as the headline says, I was happy with the ease of use. I would call the family in to see the steam coming out of the smokestacks. They were less than amused. Yesterday, my wife asked if I knew it made noise...I did not. It does whistle under pressure. NICE!

A perfect size for even my largest pot. Works as described, and super cute that it's a steam ship. My only complaint is I wish it was a slight bit stiffer, as it can be a challenge to get it to sit correctly on the larger pots. It can take some finagling to get it right. Also, it has to be stored flat as not to bend it. But overall, works as described.
