Mmmm. I love this stuff! it's so easy to make a nice filling soup to stave off more pressing hungers :) Warm and savory, this is a little taste of (for me!) home! I was a little worried when I found it sitting in a hot mailbox all day, but it doesn't seem to have affected the taste at all :) So I guess that's okay then.
The package is a little cumbersome, but it's not much effort to just snip of the corner and squeeze it out :)

The product is great to use for soup bases, not just miso. Just wish it were cheaper.

Excellent miso paste. I love it cause it was one of the few on Amazon that was vegetarian. Some of the others had bonito (fish) flakes. It also lasts a very long time if stored closed and tight in the fridge. It makes a great weekday meal when you add in fresh veggies and veggies.
