The camera worked as advertised. It was a little tricky to set up to use over the Internet but after a few tries it worked pretty well. I have purchased 4 of these and all of them have worked okay over the Internet during the 3 months after installation!
It's OK but there are definitely better options for a little more money.

You get what you pay for. I have five other Trendnet cameras that are 720P but a bit higher end and they look so much better than this one and the browser interfaces are much more responsive. While the night vision works fine the image is just not that sharp. It's not that this camera won't work for monitoring a child but you can definitely get better quality for a little extra money. If you're not cash strapped take a look at the IP662 or IP862 which also have pan/tilt.
Camera OK but the software APP is horrible

The camera has good resolution in the day. Night visibility is okay, but not as detailed as the day time. From 8 ft away I a can the "shape" of my baby but not very much detail. The camera does have good sound quality and the microphone is good too. I do like the ability to remotely "talk" to my baby. Keep in mind, audio portion of the camera is one way only. You can either hear them, or they can hear you. The temperature indicator is not correct. Mine shows its 10 degrees F warmer than the room really is. The Trendnet CloudView APP for Android is VERY UNRELIABLE! It crashes often. I have three different Android devices and all 3 will crash with an unexpected error. When this happens, no video and no audio. You need to restart the APP. I am really displeased with this. Setting up the device was easy on my home WIFI. However, if you are trying to set it up for 4G data usage so you can view the camera outside of your WIFI, it will take some extra work. The instructions are very unclear how to do this. Overall, if the APP Trendnet CloudView APP was more stable and the setup documentation was better, I would give this a higher rating and would recommend it to others. The APP crashing makes realize I need to buy a two way radio monitor for safer monitoring.
Don't waste your money.

Horrible resolution, very slow and even with high speed internet it doesn't work most of the time. It also wouldn't store video and the app is horrible. Installation was a nightmare.
Initial setup trouble but works great.

Had to really read the fine print to find out how to connect to this via a web browser to configure all the settings and triggers. But once I did that I was happy to find that the web interface was well done and all the settings were great. I got the motion triggers working and set up an email to forward events to. Have no long term status to report but so far I think its a solid device.

One thing that would be nice for the non technical user is to autogenerate the send email settings for common emails like gmail, yahoo etc. My sister would probably never be able to set this up. Also it would be a good idea to remind users you can set up your email to then forward the camera email as a mms using your wireless sms/mms email address.

Also in the google chrome browser you need to enable a feature to let you log into the webapp. Internet Explorer seems to be the best in any case with this webapp.
