Edited from when I first got it. The display constantly goes on and off, this is my second one doing the exact same thing. In addition to that the noise this thing puts out is unreal. Just a hum that is very loud, I have grounded it to multiple places with the same problem. Bypass it, no hum at all. I love the ability to configure it a billion ways but it's just not very good otherwise.

I didn't have the heart to give this 4 stars for the simple fact that the lights are just too bright for night time driving. I actually have to cover the voltmeter/adjustment display during the night. The way my center console is designed, it faces the driver side rather than being completely flat so it just makes the light blindingly worse.
Other than that, it sounds amazing. I really do appreciate the 18Khz range since my speakers and amp are rated up to 30khz (even though the human ear is not really meant to hear anything over 20k). The highs are so nice and clean, and being able to dial in the frequencies for my 5x8 speakers is important too. Can't comment much on subwoofer output because I haven't installed one yet.

Although this thing is intended for use in car audio, I'm using it to improve the sound of some mid-range Sony desktop computer speakers, and it does a fantastic job.
