I hauled some 6X6X12 post after buying this. I have a short bed truck, and now I can haul 12-16 foot lumber without any problems. Worked perfect. At a charge of $60 fro a delivery from the lumber company, this will be paid for on the next trip........I wish I would have bought it sooner.

Well built. I use this for kayaks. works great. Nice and heavy. Dropped a few times with no issues. I did have to ream out one of the holes. The paint was too thick in the hole so the pin wouldn't fit through.
Medium Duty Bed Extender.

I would use the term medium duty...it is not over built. Also sticks 3' from receiver hitch so roughly 1 ft past tailgate end. That said, decent unit and has some diagonal bracing on the cross bar which helps with the stability. Most/all other similar braces do not have this diagonal support bracing. Probably worth the $90 if your looking to gain another foot of truck bed.
