Shot it for the first time today. Pretty powerful and accurate for $135.00 crossbow. It came with two 16" bolts. The 16" came flush to the end of the crossbow barrel. It was easy to assemble and used Locktite on all the screws(highly reomended). I am using 20" bolts and dint notice any drop at 25 yards. This is defiantly strong enough to hunt with at 50 yards. I would consider this to be a beginner crossbow for an adult with the exception of the draw weight. It will be difficult for a child to cock this and this is not a toy. It is a weapon. I read all the reviews before I bought it and do not agree with the negative reviews at all. This is not a $800.00 bow, don't expect it to be. The last rifle scope I purchased was $400.00. I would purchase this item again.
170lbs is more than you think to pull!

Honestly love this crossbow. Super well-made, etc. However, I truly did not realize how difficult it would be to pull back 170lbs! Unless you're ripped like a gym rat, you'll HAVE to use the cocking device every time. Not ideal for quick reloading. Other than that, it's a sweet product. I'm selling mine to a larger friend and getting a lower weight.
