There must be several types of Type 1A, because it didn't fit my ladder. There was no place to hold the tray. It should be sold with the female fitting. I made one with 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC and drilled 5/16 hole for the clamp locks on the tray and fastened them will steel clamps. It seems to work. I would have given it a 5-Star rating if the female anchors would be included with the order.
