The Fiio E12A is great and allowed me to listen to my music the way I like.

Really made the difference when I used it with a pair of headphones with a much different impedance than my Note-8 expected. Without this unit I had to turn up the volume on the note up full to hear my music. Using this amplifier I not only heard my music but with it's bass enhancement it was great.

New music experience when connecting to low-noise sound card on computer. I don't have any special sound card, whatever is installed on my not very new Z-800.
This amplifier with Sony MDR-7506 is fantastic.
With iPhone, it is also very good, but can't drive 7506 at max volume. Maybe in the volume range middle.
Other notes: No noise whatsoever.

Works exactly as advertised powering my Sennheiser HD598. I've had good luck with FiiO products before hence my purchase here. I was not disappointed. RECOMMENDED.

Have been using this a for some time now and have only good things to say. I have over-ear headphones with a long sping cord. Without the boost of an amp, the volume needs to be near max from my iPone or laptop. This amp does the trick giving me volume to spare. I was surprised how long the battery lasts. 8-10 hours. It will also work on a dead battery as soon as you plug in the USB micro charger from AC or a laptop. Lastly, it is well made. I have dropped it from 2-3 feet onto tile with no visible impact. Highly recommended.
