The shipping box was damaged slightly resulting in a small dimple on the side of the cabinet. Since that side is against the wall, for me it was no problem. Overall, for the money, I got exactly what I expected. I installed the shelf, bolted the cabinet to the wall, and was able to put in 8 rifles, 2 of them being AR's and one being a 7mm Sniper Rifle with an attached bi-pod, which all take extra room. I am very satisfied. My only slight gripe is that the self-adhesive foam gun rests that you must stick on are very cheap and flimsy and I wish there was more substance to them. Still, they are holding the guns in place, and because they are all locked up, I don't have to worry about over-zealous grandkids messing with them when they show up. I also believe it would deter thieves enough that they may not take the time to break in. I believe a professional thief would be able to pick the lock but I still think it's a good idea to slow them down a bit no matter what. I am pleased with the locking mechanism, the overall construction, and the appearance of the cabinet.
