Arrived with one side brim snapped up to the crown. We needed ours to have a flat crown and it took a few days for that to happen. We got bug netting to put over the hats because we walk through woody and swampy areas. Hat worked great for that.

Will require some shaping, but it's a gardening/shade hat so it's not like I'm out to win a beauty contest for Best Brim 2017. The shipping box size did puzzle me, but it seems to have recovered and was put straight to work.
I'm a woman with a large head and big hair, and the XL is one of the first hats that has fit me without issue. It's durable and well made, and I can wear it for hours without getting a red mark on my forehead or a headache from an unbearably tight hat band.
The dark olive color is great - not quite green, not quite charcoal - a good option if you're not after black or brown. I would definitely buy these for the rest of the family who are in need of a solid work/shade hat.

I bought this hat to go on a rafting trip. You are exposed to the sun the entire time you are out on the water and I was tired of getting sunburned. This covers just the right amount of the face and neck area. The brim is a good size without making the hat look too big or taking up too much space.

This hat is excellent for those who do not wear hats too often and don't necessarily want to spend a lot of money on a hat. It's main purpose is to shield you from the sun and it does that perfectly.

The hat arrived in a box so it was in perfect shape, no dents or folds were visible.

BUT this does run a little small even though I ordered according to the size chart provided. I would say go up a size unless you like a tight fit hat.

The construction of this hat was of poor quality. The crown of the hat is misaligned to the brim to such an extent that it's very apparent that it was improperly sewn. Additionally the snaps were misaligned on the brim causing the brim to snap up at an awkward angle. At least one other buyer has had similar results, your mileage may vary.

I wouldn't recommend the product due to poor craftsmanship. I'll post pictures once I'm able to upload.

I ordered this hat for my son for a school presentation on Australia. Score because the hat fits me too! This hat is made of very durable thick cotton material. There are snaps available on two sides so if you prefer to wear the brim snapped you may. There are also "air holes" around the top of the hat that are covered with a mesh material to allow air circulation to your head. The hat comes with a chin strap that is adjustable with a small plastic spring loaded slider so you can adjust the length of the chin strap. The slider can come off but you can very easily reattach it to the strap. What attracted me most to this hat was the price. I honestly was not expecting much, given the inexpensive price tag, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received the hat. It feels well made and even though I ordered with intention of using it only for my son's presentation, I'm sure I will find myself using this hat often.
