Weapon Shield clp is very good product. The more often you use the better it gets! After continued use fouling dry wipes right off. You basically just need enough to protect that is enough for lube, rails etc... Since the solvent contains some clp no worries about letting solvent completely dry or having to wipe all off. Even after a shooting session just dry wipe to clean and there is still enough lube no need to relube.

I shoot a lot an have tried just about every modern synthetic gun oil, grease and solvent on the market. Weapon shield is very slick and reduces wear on my firearms better than the others I have used. The solvent is effective and does not leave your firearms bone dry like other solvents. I only use the grease on my M1A as I find the CLP to be the better lube on most weapons. I run it in every thing from my tightly fitted 1911s (Wilson & Baer), AR-15s, several CZs, alloy framed Sigs and polymer framed handguns among others.
I even had a mailbox that was difficult to open. After placing two drops on the key and working the lock, it has been extremely smooth and easy to open even 8 months after application.

Wow, finally I can clean my firearms in the house without getting yelled at by the wife, and this stuff really protects your metal from wear and tear. Been shooting my new semiauto and haven't gotten the normal slide wear on my barrel block etc. This stuff really protects and cleans.

Too many posts raving in detail of how well it works. I'll just say that they are all true, I'm a skeptic to a believer in two applications.

Over the years I've been through most all the major types of oils and clp type products minus frog lube and fireclean as to me even though they both might be great products the process isn't something I'm interesting in. Now back to weaponshield it's hands down amazing in my opinion does a great job as a true clp and the smell isn't horrible, it stays where it's supposed to and is super slick. Highly recommended
