Well, I wouldn't say I love it, but ...

Zero problems with installation and configuration. Just follow the directions. It worked perfectly with our 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Editorial comments: I, like many others, really question the need for this product. I do not understand why the software on the opener cannot accommodate both the newer and older control codes. This product is a work-around, but the entire control system feels clumsy as a result.
Chamberlain/liftmaster should have had this built in.

This review is for Chamerlain/liftmaster with the new Homwlink 2+. They should have built in a bridge/within the garage door opener. It's stupid that I have to pay an additional $27 to operate homelink on all of my cars 2012 older. If I would have know, I would have bought a different motor

As for this product itself. It works exactly what it says. However there is a delay, depending on where you have this displayed. It'll work better if you have this closer to the door.
Old car with Homelink~new door opener connector

This is the same unit that can be ordered from Chamberlain in Tuscon, Arizona. The difference is that Chamberlain has a flat $13 shipping charge compared to Amazon's choice's of shipping.
The remote that arrives with the "bridge" can not be used as a remote, it is only for programming your vehicle. I had to try it as a remote as the low priced door opener I chose came with one remote only.
but it works like a champ

For some reason GM didn't make the necessary changes with their Homelink in the 2010 - 2014 models to be compatible with newer garage door openers. When we installed a new Chamberlain my Homelink wouldn't work until we installed this bridge. One unit works with multiple cars, so its not required to purchase one bridge per vehicle. It took about 5 minutes to install and program, but it works like a champ. I have better range now than I did before and they say the newer garage door opener technology makes it harder for the bad guys to open our door.
Fairly painless way to get older HomeLink systems to control new garage door openers

Does what it says on the box, I would rather not have to buy anything extra to get any of my cars to control a new Chamberlain opener with their Homelink systems but this got them all to connect and seems to work without any issues. Only thing I can see is a slight lag between pressing the car button and the door opening when compared to the actual remote controls that came with the opener but other than that, it works well.
