I haven't spent a bunch of time using the loom yet -- not nearly as much as I have wanted to. I can say that the times that I have used it I have had lots of fun with it. I didn't really use the instructions included because I purchased an online class on weaving, so I can't comment on whether they are useful. I can also say that the loom was pretty easy to put together, and is really easy to use. I would recommend it for anyone who is a beginner like me.
