We purchased these to use with the led light strip that we have mounted to the awning of our camper. The led power supply for the led lights have a fairly short cord and we want to make sure that there is not too much tension/weight on the part that plugs into the power supply. This extension cable plugs into the led light strip and can be brought all the way down the arm of the awning so that the power supply can be plugged in and be secured to keep tension off of the connections. These are nice and long and work great. The connectors that come with them work great as well. I liked that this was a pack of two of the extension cords because we have some friends who got an led light strip as well and we were able to order this set and save a bit of money. They needed an extension cord for the same reason. Both of them work great.

So i wanted to route the Connection to my LED RGB Strip lights through an existing pass through on my RV. the cable supplied was too short and the extension i bought from another vendor needed to be spliced to get a cable long enough to perform the task.
These cables fit the bill perfectly being white they blend into the trailer background and can hardly be seen. i needed 15 feet so i now even have a spare.
I would suggest for a long term solution use a drop of glue to make one end a permanent male end as the pins can slip out with the vibration of RV travel ... most likely not an issue for non moving install locations.

Ordered this to use an extension for my TaoTronics TT-SL029 LED lights that I got off of Amazon as well. The TaoTronics LED lights come with an IR receiver and a microphone that allows the lights to change color to the beat of music. I wanted the microphone as close to my speakers as possible, so I ordered this extension cable to achieve that. The cable comes with 4 adapters to connect the two cables and to turn the female adapters into male adapters if necessary.
