I used this monopod immediately after purchase. I quickly snapped my phone into the holder (which allows for various sized phones to fit) and easily records volleyball games. Smartphones today produce 1080p video and having this monopod makes it easy to take videos. A few people asked where I purchased and told them of this company through Amazon. This collapses into a small enough size that only a tiny portion sticks out of my backpack. Extremely light and easy to shorten / expand.
