Bought this subwoofer thinking it was a great deal for a great brand name and sound specs. Sadly I have owned this speaker for less than a month and the surround has separated from the cone. The glue seems to have failed but was still tacky when I tried to reapply the surround back to the cone. I am extremely disappointed as I did not think the protection plan would be necessary.

Now I'm stuck with a useless subwoofer. Thanks for the months worth of music. Spend more and get more. Don't buy this subwoofer!!!!

Power Hungry!

They look great, sound great, and weren't over priced..
I used these and other XED speakers from Cerwin Vega to replace my worn out speakers in my home stereo E-312 Cerwin Vega Speaker cabinets. (Please note: My receiver is 4 Ohm compatible) They are extremely clear, and crisp sounding... You can tell they are high quality. The sub-woofers have deep bass, and are very power hungry. I can tell my Kenwood receiver is struggling to push them, but does do the job.
Anyway, I'm impressed to say the least.
