It is quiet. As other reviewers said, there's a massive hunter logo painted on the center which is just dumb honestly. And after a year it's rusted terribly so in sprite of it still working just fine, $159 is in the trash because it looks awful

The light/fan was installed by an electrician. Even though there was an existing light/fan already installed, it took over 4 hours to install this unit. The electrician was very impressed with this unit & noted the make and model. It is hard to tell the fan is running as it is so quiet.

This fan is great. I really like the design - it looks much more expensive than it is. Also, it is quiet and does a good job of evacuating air. I have them in multiple bathrooms in my house. I bought this one as a replacement for the 12 year old one in my master bath that has started to be noisy. I bought a "used" one from Amazon that said the packaging was damaged. The box looks a little ragged but the fan inside is in perfect condition.

This is an excellent bathroom exhaust fan. This is my second purchase of this fan, not because the first one broke, but because the brushed nickel outer face was badly rusted. I bought a new one to replace the rusted brushed nickel face. The fan still works as it did on day 1, 10 years ago. Pretty quiet. Not ultra quiet, but not annoyingly loud. Now I have an extra fan in case my original conks out considering the age and it is super easy to change that out too. Unplug, the electrical connection, two screws and it lifts right out. As for the rust problem, I purchased a couple spray cans of clear flexseal and coated all metal parts twice. This will take some of the luster out of the metal, but should take care of the rust problem and doesn't look horrible, but the metal won't shine.

After a little research I purchased this bath exhaust fan to use as a replacement for a similar fan by a different manufacture. The fan motor fit perfectly and I did not have to remove the can from the ceiling. The fan motor I was replacing was no longer available from the manufacture.
