Bought this machine because my Janome stopped working after only 2 years. So far it has met my expectations and has been easy to use. I love the auto tension setting, the nice plastic cover and the foot pedal. The secondary spool holder is a little cheap. I use it for winding bobbins. Took me a while to figure that out, since it's not specifically addressed in the manual and if you don't have the right spool cap on it, the spool either won't spin or wobbles and almost comes off when winding a bobbin.

This review is a little late. I've been so busy sewing with this machine almost everyday that it slipped my mind. This was my first electronic sewing machine and it has been a joy to use. Ultimately, I want to dabble in a little quilting, but I really like the variety of stitches, and of course the buttonhole foot. It's so easy to make perfect buttonholes when the button is placed in the foot. The machine does it all.
I could go on forever about what it can do. I've only touched the surface. I'm so glad I took the plunge and purchased this Juki.

The media could not be loaded. As an avid recreational sew-er for 40+ years, I'd always had secondhand machines. I recently got bit by the quilting bug and after much research, I decided on this model. Works great for straight stitching and amazing speeds, and it'll be beautiful for making garments.
Machine comes with cover, extended table and a slew of accessories. Easy setup, bobbin threading is a little fiddly and if done wrong tension is impossible to achieve. Just beware of bobbin placement and everything else is perfection.

I have sewn for over 40 yrs and owned many different sewing machines over the years. The Juki has been a great machine so far. I am able to drop the feed dogs, an auto needle threader, and many other helpful features.
