Attractive coat, but on the thinly filled side and not warm for temps below freezing unless you have many layers underneath. It is very narrow on the shoulders, so I had to take a large instead of a medium. The coat does not fit proportionally throughout the body. I am 5'6", 135# and a large fit good at the shoulders, but rather wide around the waist and hips. Even with the side strap on the tightest snap, it is still wide. I love the long length on the legs which helps with the cold. Overall, nice looking jacket, but not really sized properly for the typical women's hourglass shape.

I really, really love this coat. It does run small, so if you are small or average build order a size larger than what you normally wear. If you are wider through the shoulders or have a larger build in general get 2 sizes bigger. I am 5'2, 120 lbs, average build and I got a medium. It would be 5 stars if it was just a tad wider through the back and shoulders but I'm keeping it, I just won't be wearing any really bulky sweaters underneath it. The hood is also mainly for decoration I believe, since it is enormous and covers my whole face! It's removeable though so I just zipped it off. The coat seems excellent in very cold weather, I am from Vermont and temps have been between 5-15 F since it arrived. For the amount I spent on this coat, (I ordered dark blue which for whatever reason was $150 less than the black or burgundy, and it's a very nice color) I am happy with it.

This is a wonderfully warm coat. It's very flattering and I really enjoy it. My only complaint about it is how huge the hood is. It comes down and covers my eyes. I constantly have to push it back to be able to see.

I wear a size 10 (medium) and went up to a large, because all the other reviews said that the arms and shoulders are tight. They are, but not too tight. The strap around the waist can be tightened, so I could make it smaller in the waist, which made it look more fitted. I love the color, Navy Blue. The hood is extremely large and falls down below my eyes. Because I love the coat, I will take it to a seamstress and have the hood altered to fit better.

This is a fantastic coat. I suggest you size up at least one size. Midnight is a dark navy. I am 5 feet 109 lbs and got a medium. A small would've worked but might've been tight in the arms shoulders area. Depends on what you want in fit. It is a fitted coat so a little big is ok. The hood is big. I pinned the fur back so it wasn't covering my eye. Used a needle and thread. Worked great. For $30 shipped and arrived in 2 days it is fantastic!
