Love the helmet but it melted after being in the car for less than 2 hours :(
I returned the helmet and got another one because my son loved the design so much, however the second helmet melted too after remaining in the shade in the backyard with his bike. :( it doesn't seem to have affected the safety of the helmet but it looks bad.

Nice toddler helmet.

This is a extra cute helmet. My son was so excited to get a "Jurassic World" helmet as he described it. Today is his 4th birthday and the helmet fits him perfectly. I can't imagine it fitting him in a year. If your child is between 4-5 I would suggest getting the one sized for 5+
Saved our child's life

Our son has osteogenesis imperfecta, which is a fragile bone disorder. He averages at least one break a year and breaks very easily.
So our 8 year son was riding his bike about as fast as he could toward us and had a violent crash right in front of us. He slammed face first into our concrete sidewalk where his head took the initial impact. As loud as the crash was we both freaked out to the point of my wife screaming "oh my god!" over and over, uncontrollably and we both just knew he would have sever injuries and most likely life threatening injuries to his face and head.
He has simply tripped and fell down and snapped his wrist clean in half before, so it doesn't take much at all to break or at the least fracture a bone.
He was laying down face first when I first grabbed him. We spun him around expecting the worst and.......nothing. Nothing at all wrong with our boy besides some serious rash marks. We went through the concussion protocol and not even a concussion and I dont think I could have slammed that helmet to the ground harder than he hit.
Looking at the helmet there is a pretty good dent on the edge of the helmet right where the top of his forehead touches, to the point there is a half inch gap between the material and the vinyl wrap. I know luck played a role in the way he landed but the helmet took 100% of the impact and did its job. Already bought another one, to replace his.

Well constructed helmet that meets all safety needs. Design is a "hoot" with the spikes and glow in the dark feature. Bought for our 20 month old who has a somewhat large head. Helmet adjusted to fit nicely but still has room to grow. Our grandson constantly wears it whenever he is visiting he loves it so much. Great purchase.

I bought this helmet for my 2.5 year old and he LOVES it! My kids tend to have a 90%tile head (a big one) and it fits them great (my almost 4 year old has to wear it sometimes too, you know). Now my 4 year old wants the same one for his birthday...which he will be getting since we love this helmet so much. We get compliments overtime my son wears it on our walks/bike rides.
