Could have been much better
al•December 31, 2014
This kit went together fairly well and makes a nice looking model
PROS
Turret - good detail in the cast finish although there is a very pronounced mold seam when you glue top to bottom
Suspension - the suspension is essentially two sets of suspension side by side on each side so it will be tedious but the roadwheels will turn so you can paint them more easily
Commanders hatch - pretty good detail
Antennas - comes with two fairly realistic plastic ones
CONS
Barrels although one piece for the 37mm and the twin .50 cals bend easily and were hard to get perfectly straight
Tracks - Came in 4 separate vinyl pieces
"Partsism" - this kit as well as many other new ones falls prey to putting too many parts in places that do nothing to improve the quality of the model but do add a lot of time to the assembly. In this case, most of the suspension is hidden yet you will spend hours assembling them anyway
Tow Cables - the string provided is difficult to work with and comes unraveled on the ends. Would be nice if they included some braided copper wire instead
Overall an above average skill level required to assemble this kit

Very nice kit of a very rarely seen
Amazon Customer•August 5, 2014
Very nice kit of a very rarely seen, or known subject. The only thing i really can complain about is the 'magic tracks'. Not a really big fan of those items, link by link takes more time, but really look better. If you paint those magic tracks and thern have to stretch them to install them the paint splits and peels. Otherwise a great kit, very accurate. If you can find 'Axis-Allies', issue 28, there is an article detaling the differences in the pre-production models and the production models of the M6. etail in the kit is quite nice as are most Dragon offerings, and the instructions are very clear. This is a big model, lots of wheels and idlers, and lots of guns, as was the style of the times. This model looks great with the Neubaufarzug protype as they are contemporary developements.
