cuts the uncuttable pills

I ordered this to split pills that seemed to be impossible to split unless you used a sharp corner of a table or something and that would hurt the fingers quickly. This does the job with little effort and a perfectly centered cut each time. Not only that, but I was able to cut 7 of these hard to split pills at once! It was getting to the point were I wasn't taking my medication because the hassle.

Works exactly as stated, including cutting my oblong tablets into quarters....read all hints, such as placing halves on edge, to further create quarters.. I have a new round tablet with a lot of fillers in it, and quite rounded on top making it Very hard to cut with a typical straight bladed cutter. Previously, they shattered, turned into powder, where incredibly uneven "halves". Now I get good clean cuts. Once in awhile there is an uneven cut with the large round tabs, so to prevent that, I don't completely fill the tray but do maybe 5 tabs.

Does the trick.I cut a small pill into quarters and it worked well. Of course it takes a bit of time to arrange the half's properly so they can be cut again.
The blade is very sharp (tried it...)
The cutter is a bit large, but as you don't need it all the time as you can cut multiple pills at the same time it can be stashed away easily.
the pill holder mechanism works well and you can put all kinds of large pills in there.
And in case you are wondering - you can not cut in 1/3rds.

This multiple pill splitter is a game changer for me! I have been splitting my pills one at a time and it would take me FOREVER. I am so glad I spent the money and got this one. It is easy to use and can cut so many pills at once. You just pull open the spring loaded arm and place your pills in the area. You don't have to line up marks or event really have them all facing the same way. The arms hold pills still and you just press the top down and that's it! I highly recomend this product for anyone who has many pills to split.

This is about the best pill splitter we have ever owned. The blade is ultra sharp and thin - meaning pills split with less breakage than you get with other types. It has a cam system that aligns the tablet and always centers them for you - ingenious. Does not take too much force to use - although you need to make sure to follow the instructions and apply even pressure across the top. We'll be ordering a few more to have on hand.
