You probably already know it's cheap, but FYI it's actually unusable

I was expecting it to be fairly cheaply made and not very comfortable (I was interested in support with a low price tag); I did not expect it to be completely unusable. The opening for the thumb was way too small, even without using the velcro strap at all (which is supposed to help you set the tightness); it cut off circulation to the top of my thumb. I tried stretching it out a bit, repositioning it several times, no dice. I tried to ignore the numbing of the top of my thumb, but found that the rest of the brace wasn't offering any support to the rest of my thumb into my wrist, which is the whole point of this brace.
Thumb hole too small.

I don't have thick fingers at all, but I have trouble fitting my thumb through the thumb hole, and once it's in it pinches. Very uncomfortable, so I avoid wearing it - not much point then, is there?

If you have arthritis of the base of the thumb that causes pain, this a wonderful product to have. It stabilizes the joint, preventing painful grinding, and helps especially at night when unconsciously movement can trigger sudden intense pain. I use an anti-inflammatory topical medication, like Willow Balm or Po Sum On (both available through Amazon) and then apply the thumb support. Sweet relief...
think twice before buying this so you don't waste your money like I did

I gave this a 1 Star Review as a Warning to people with larger hands. The price & quality are ok but as other reviewers have commented on, the thumb opening is very small. It cut off the circulation at even the loosest setting once I was able to even get my thumb through. It also barely covered, and offer no support for, my wrist. For people with larger than normal hands, think twice before buying this so you don't waste your money like I did.

I have a texting problem, and it's started to hurt my poor millennial thumb. I got this brace because my thumb would hurt a lot at work, and it definitely helps! I know that my problem is a repetitive strain injury from using my phone too much, but I really can't reduce how much I use my phone. Nor can I easily change how I hold my phone, because it's very automatic. This thumb stabilizer helps keep my thumb from overextending to the point that it causes injury, and it keeps me from using my phone in a way that hurts. I wear it at work sometimes, but even just wearing it when I'm off helps. My only complaint is that the fastener that goes around the thumb gets in the way a little bit, but I fasten the thumb strap down by the wrist and it solves that problem!
