Basic material is good, but, does anyone care about assembly? I was surprised that very poor stakes (e.g., obvious bad knotholes) are used right along with the others. As soon as I saw them I decided to systematically make pilot holes for all the stakes - still had 1/8 break in the second week.
Stands up to wind storms

Works well. At first I was skeptical. Looked flimsy. But I've seen this at construction sites so I put it up. Soon had a strong wind storm. And it held. Not a single problem. Many storms since and it still stands.
This product won't work because it was made incorrectly

The product is defective. The stakes were stapled on the fabric upside down. The three stripes on the fabric were on top (should be on the bottom). This prevents the overlap on the bottom to be installed in the bottom of the trench to make the silt fence effective. All three rolls I bought were made incorrectly.
