Great bang-for-the-buck. I use this with windows 10

Works exactly as expected. Great bang-for-the-buck.
I use this with windows 10. Anything I attach to it and then toggle on is detected exactly as if I had just plugged it into the motherboard header itself. High bandwidth transfer, zero unexpected packet drops.
To get nit-picky, I wish the cable was a little longer OR that it came from the other side - because for my application I had to rotate the unit 180deg... but that is definitely not something to detract from the rating since this was obvious in the listing.

Great Product, Great Price-Point, Highly Recommend it!

Item arrived promptly. I chose this USB hub because it conformed with usb 3.0 specs and had some cool led lighting that indicated that the hub port was enabled. the other reason was requiring additional ports that my personal computer did not have.
Pros
- blue lighting
- switches to turn on/off usb ports
- easy to install
- material
- size
- price point
Cons
- nothing
I highly recommend this item for notebook users that have a limited amount of usb ports due to new thinner designs.

It has been stable here, no disconnections

I did not have disconnections others are mentioning, even when slightly moving the hub around while connected. I don't want to force it too much in order to not break it (or worse, break my laptop USB port), so this is the limits of what I'd be willing to test.
My disc based HDD was saturated for minutes while the HUB also had a mechanical keyboard and a flash drive plugged in the HUB, so while I can't confirm the USB 3.0 speeds as others here have had, I'm satisfied with the product. It was on par with my expectations for a cheap, good and dependable USB hub.

Great little hub.

For some reason, it will not work with my Dell XPS 18, but I think that is a different issue. I plugged it into my new Inspiron 3650 Gamer's Edition desktop which came with only 2 USB 3 ports on the front. The hub worked almost immediately. No problems with any of the ports. I have a USB SSD drive, Logitech Keyboard RX, RealFlight Interlink, and a Fifine USB Condenser Mic plugged in for testing. All 4 worked fine.
I'd also like to mention that all 4 ports worked the same. There was no difference with the way the switches or lights worked. The SSD drive worked on all 4 ports with no issues. So while there may be a version out there that had issues that required an unnecessary return, this one was not one of them. However, if I only had my XPS 18, this would be a necessary return. I'd put this between 3 and 4 stars for that.

I've been using one of these on my media center for a long time. For Christmas my son got the PSVR, a racing set up with a steering wheel, and an external drive for added space. The PS4 only has 2 ports. I was about to go looking for a PS4 compatible hub when I noticed this one sitting on the floor. I unhooked it from the PC, added it to the PS4, plugged the steering wheel and VR helmet into it, and Christmas morning was saved! I quickly ordered a second one and have it back on the media center.

Probably one of my best inexpensive buys of 2016.

I don't even know how I came across this device on Amazon, but I'm so glad I did. Like the new norm, My family and I own multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, multiple android tablets, Kindle, Nook...the list goes on), and of course they all take different charger types. I was constantly having to find available outlets to keep everything charged, and keeping up with those plug adapter things is annoying as heck. This little hub has completely eliminated all of that. I love how compact it is, and I really like that I can click the individual ports off and on without constant plugging and unplugging. Very happy with the Christmas gift to myself. Thinking about buying one for every room.
