Works short term

Only worked for a few months on my sailboat, then no longer maintained a brand new battery. Then also had to replace the battery because the panel messed it up too and it will no longer charge even on a home charger.
Very satisfied....

Looks like it is going to do a good job on my sailboat batteries. When thoroughly wet before pressing down, the suction cups held nicely.
paid for itself already

considering it's low price , approx $70 and ease of installation and use, this solar trickle charger has been a great purchase. I forgot to turn off my battery after leaving our sailboat. A week later I turned on battery and it started the motor instantly. Saved by the solar charger!

Thinking this is a named brand I see for sale at some higher end marine stores I was hoping for great success. It does work. In about 5 hours direct sun my boat battery went from 12.6 to 15.0 on my dash gauge. The wire from the panel to connector is hard wired to the panel - not removable. the terminator is a single plug type adapter that can go to a fused male cigarette lighter plug or uses a battery jumper cable type connector. nothing out there I can find uses these type of ends so any charge controller (not needed here) or extension cables will work. I didn't know that or see it in the packaging else I would have stayed away from this brand. The direct clamps for the battery are small and the wires very thin. They are also so close together they barely reach the offset wing nut wire poles of my battery. They cannot reach the battery poles themselves. the cable is very short so it limits where I can place this on my boats t-top. I am now buying a better set of battery connector clamps with a longer lead to help get some added distance and a better connection at the battery.
