Superb EMS/TENS. Small unit packs a big punch.

I have owned a TENS unit before but it was older technology and not nearly as fancy as this one. There are so many different options that you can't help but find the right one. I am a triathlete and am always having some sort of overusage issue. This has done wonders for my shoulders after heavy swimming and I use it on my lower back. I also have Piriformis Syndrome and it's done a nice job of helping calm that down, along with stretching. Careful: This thing is tiny but it packs a punch. This will literally spasm your muscles to 100%. So just a warning to really start out on the lowest level and gradually increase. The array of options are amazing and you will find your favorites, depending on what area you are targeting. I love that it has some of the unconventional options like acupuncture, cupping, etc. Some of those are my favorites. I also love that I can target my shoulders and lower back at the same time. I often apply these and use the unit while I am driving or even while walking around the store shopping. Very discreet and you won't even notice the wires if you have the unit in your pocket and wires are under your clothing.

Every now and then a product arrives that's above my personal expectations. This is one of those products. I've not gone without this tens unit for any real length of time. This is the 3rd. I've owned. The 1st was years ago, battery operated and VERY expensive (around $600) The second, more recently, is a compact, battery operated unit, with "fixed pads" . A little tricky to use, gravity pulls it down, settings are vague.
But this perfectly made, simple to use/ set-up, long life, and rechargeable too! Packed nicely, with 2 pair pads with cables to run 2 or 4 pads with separate cables for each pair. Or a 4 lead cable to run all pads on once . Also included is the USB charger and cable, a plastic paddle to store pads on when not in use. Instructions etc. I'm using it right now. Easy to fall asleep while using. It arrived the day before a flight and helped my back on the trip. A lot. Easy to select one of 8 settings. Easy to increase strength. Easily the best I've seen.

... of TENS products before and this one was the worst! The lowest setting was way too high

I have owned a couple of TENS products before and this one was the worst! The lowest setting was way too high! It should only have a mold affect st it's lowest setting but was more of a medium-high electric shock. Will never buy this brand again.

Got it for my mom who has chronic nerve pain in her neck and shoulders. She says that the results are pretty effective, but don't last a lot beyond when you're actually using this device, hence I took off a star. It's also a little difficult to stick to yourself if you don't have a buddy to help you put it on your back/neck etc., but that is not unexpected. I've used it a few times on some shoulder knots and it seemed to work. Take the time to play around with all the settings and levels of intensity, and START LOW! Don't immediately jack up the intensity all the way or you will be jerking around like a landed fish

What an amazing product that works really well at a very affordable price. This little device really does help block some of the nerve pain from a lot of lower back pain. The cost to purchase is less than one appointment at a chiropractor or acupuncturist. What a handy little device that makes it possible to use less pain killer medicines. Very pleased and hope it lasts a long time. I also like that this has a rechargeable battery, is easy to use, and is such a small size.
